Welcome to the 2011-2012 season for the SFMAAAHL.  As we enter our sixth full season of league operations, we can sit back and marvel at the success of the league and the growth we have seen in the first five years.  Thanks to everyone who has helped this league grow and become an excellent environment for young female hockey players in our province.

While the completion of five years is noteworthy, the growth in the post secondary education and playing opportunities for our players is something to be noticed.  After the 2010-2011 season, 45 of our graduating players were given opportunities to continue playing hockey at a post secondary educational institution in a variety of locations and leagues throughout North America. We extend our congratulations and best wishes to all of the girls who have moved on to these wonderful opportunities.

On behalf of the executive of the league I extend a welcome to all new players entering the SFMAAAHL. I know you will find the competition exciting and that you will find the life of a AAA female midget hockey player both rewarding and challenging.
