Sharks Goaltender Commits to NCAA
The Sharks are very proud to announce that 2nd year goaltender Chloe Marshall has committed to attend and play NCAA Division III hockey at Northland College in Wisconsin next fall, where she will be majoring in Biology.

Marshall is a native of Neilburg, Saskatchewan and has been a huge contributor between the posts for the Sharks. She has played 30 games in the SFMAAAHL and has faced 1039 shots, while still maintaining a .915 SV%.

JANUARY 1ST STAR
The 1st star for January is Swift Current Wildcats goalie Jasey Book.
Book had a great month compiling 3 wins.
COACH’S COMMENTS: Jasey continues to be a solid goaltender for the Swift Current Wildcats. This month she started three games and won all three.  She recorded two shutouts and stopped 77/79 shots. 
Jasey is a hard working player, a solid teammate and has a high level of compete. ...

JANUARY 2ND STAR
The 2nd star for January is Regina Rebel forward Kennedy Bobyck.
Kennedy had a great month scoring 12 points in 5 games.

COACH’S COMMENTS:  Kennedy has had a breakout month for the Rebels.  Through 5 games in January Kennedy scored 7 goals and chipped in with 5 assists for 12 points to lead the team in scoring,   Even though she is the youngest player on our team her consistent work ethic and acceptance of new roles makes her a leader amongst her peers. ...

JANUARY 3RD STAR
The 3rd star for January is Saskatoon Stars Grace Shirley.
Grace has been consistent all year and considering she is a first year player her play has been tremendous. She had 5 goals and 3 assists in January bringing her point total to 27 with Her 16 goals is leading the league.
Grace has an outstanding work ethic as well as huge desire to improve her game. Always first on and last off the ice when it comes to practice and constantly playing with a puck....
